The tradition of dressing up in a costume for Halloween is something that isn’t just for children. Many NBA players take part in the annual fun and bring plenty of creativity in their efforts.

While there was a fair share of the traditional horror movie character costumes, some players went above and beyond the usual choices in 2019. It’s safe to say that the execution of these choices would win most Halloween costume contests.

Here are some of the best costumes from around the NBA:

Lakers center JaVale McGee as Beetlejuice:

Lakers superstar LeBron James as Edward Scissorhands, or also known as “LeDward Scissorhands”:

Cavaliers star Kevin Love as Jason from Friday the 13th:

Lakers star Kyle Kuzma as Blueface:

Wizards guard Isaiah Thomas as an Oompa Loompa:

Wizards star John Wall hit the Dougie dressed as the Joker from “Batman”:

The whole Timberwolves roster took part in the fun:

Wizards star Bradley Beal as the Joker from “Suicide Squad” with his girlfriend as Harley Quinn:

Pelicans guard J.J. Redick as a Lego block character:
